He is currently a co-founder and Senior Vice President of Oakstone Resources LLC, a company focused on long-life oil and gas mineral assets. Over his career, Garrett has held leadership roles in corporate planning, reserves management, and engineering at Black Stone Minerals Company L.P. for over 16 years. He also has a background in field engineering with Baker Hughes INTEQ and commercial banking at Whitney National Bank. Garrett holds an MBA from the University of New Orleans and a degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Mississippi.
