Happy Holidays! We’re grateful for your support and wish you a joyful season.
V3.1.18, driven by user feedback and industry needs, makes this update a must have.
Scenario Report – Model and Data Overview
Scenario Qualifier Hierarchy in Status Bar
Projection Edit Report (Replacing V3ForecastConnect)
Enhanced Grid Editor – Add Up to Three ID Codes
Offshore Production – New Non-GEL Unit
Most of our new program features are direct requests from PHDwin V3 users.
This report helps users see how data is organized and applied across various scenarios, offering a clear view of how different qualifiers and models interact.
The Scenario Qualifier Hierarchy in the Status Bar lets users view and navigate the entire qualifier hierarchy directly within a form.
Unlike traditional "Barrel of Oil Equivalent" (BOE), which assumes oil is measured in barrels, oil equivalence avoids implying any specific unit of oil, making it more flexible.
Allows users to add up to three ID codes for easier case identification and linking with external data. These codes are retained when exporting grid edits to CSV or Excel, improving data organization and tracking.
Non-GEL Unit for Offshore Production feature allows users to group cases and accumulate production volumes without solving for economics, unlike the standard Group Economic Limit (GEL) model. This is useful for offshore and onshore product handling agreements where economic calculations aren't required, simplifying volume aggregation and reporting.
All V3 Connect sheets from V3.1.17 are compatible with V3.1.18 except V3 Forecast Connect which was replaced by the Projection Edit Report.
The cost depletion report is great for accounting and financial stakeholders who want to manage their wells taxable liabilities for the year.

When the right hardware (32gb RAM recommended) is used with PHDwin V3, large databases (70,000+ cases) are now faster to process and more stable to ensure an efficient workflow.
As requested during our annual user group meeting, we’ve added a comprehensive Scenario Report. This report provides insights into
This feature improves clarity when managing complex projects and helps users quickly identify the applicable data and models for each scenario.
To streamline workflow, we’ve added a Scenario Qualifier Hierarchy in the status bar. This allows users to easily see which data is assigned to which qualifier, ensuring better control over project configurations.
We’ve replaced the term “BOE” (Barrel of Oil Equivalence) with “Oil Equivalence” to allow for more flexibility in unit measurement.
Featured to the left is a detailed Report with the new Oil Equivalence detailed type.
We’ve expanded the Grid Editor to support up to three ID codes in any table. Simply select the ID Codes from the bottom left of the Grid Editor to easily manage and track key identifiers within your data sets.
For offshore and on-shore production scenarios, we’ve introduced a non-GEL unit for PHAs (product handling agreements). This new unit provides more accurate revenue tracking and automation for offshore production cases.

The following items need to be installed manually if users install PHDwin from the .msi installer. The .msi installer cannot check for or automatically install these items.
Earlier versions of SQL (2016 or later) and the C++ redistributable (2015 or later) are fine. Only the .NET Framework 4.8.1 is actually new to build 3.1.13, so existing V3 users will only have to install that.
