Running economic reports in PHDwin V3 is a crucial task for analyzing your data effectively. This guide will walk you through the process, ensuring you can make the most of this powerful tool.
First, ensure the case list has the correct sort order and filter applied.
The reports will print in the same order as the case list is sorted.
The sort order also controls summary or subtotal reports.
Look for summation symbols on the case list next to any grouping that will have a summary report.
After sorting the case list, go to the Reports ribbon.
Choose the name of the report template you want to run.
Choose which cases to run the report on: all cases in the scenario, the current case (including unsaved changes), or all selected cases.
If you’ve created a custom report group, it will be available here.
By default, the summarization will be set, reporting all individual cases plus the summary reports you’ve set up in the sort order.
You can choose to report cases only, summaries only, or just a grand total page.
You can choose the report destination. Options include a preview window, Excel, PDF, or a printer.
Adjust the units for currency, revenue, and products as needed.
Once you’ve configured everything, click “Run.”
In the preview window, you can navigate through different report pages using arrows or the document map.
Options to print the report, save it to your computer, or attach it to an email are available at the top.
Some reports may have additional parameters that you can customize when the preview window opens.
For example, you can choose the products displayed or adjust formatting options.
You can run multiple reports simultaneously without interrupting your database work.
