I’m Kimberly Ayers, founder and reservoir engineering consultant at Ayers Petroleum Consulting. As a third-generation oil and gas professional, I grew up immersed in the industry, working alongside my grandmother and father. This early exposure fueled my passion for petroleum engineering, leading me to pursue an MSc in Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering from West Virginia University. In 2017, I founded Ayers Petroleum Consulting to provide specialized services to small and mid-sized companies in the Appalachian Basin.
Our firm focuses on subsurface consulting, asset evaluations, production optimization, and mineral appraisals, leveraging deep regional expertise to empower clients with strategic insights. By combining data analytics, reservoir engineering, and industry-leading software, we help operators maximize asset value and drive informed decision-making.
One of the key benefits we've seen since adopting PHDwin is how much more structured and controlled our data is. This improved data organization has allowed us to streamline our workflows and, most notably, has increased the efficiency of generating reports. By standardizing the data extraction process, we’ve reduced time spent on manual tasks and can focus more on delivering insights to our clients.
The shift toward data-driven analytics in reserves management has fundamentally changed the way we approach forecasting and decision-making.
