With a background in mathematics and extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, Courtney established QED to bridge the gap between technical education and industry needs.

Erin Randolph is the Managing Director of Training at QED Energy Associates, a Houston-based firm specializing in training and placing reservoir engineering technicians. With a background in education and extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, Erin leads the development of training programs that equip professionals with the skills needed for success in the energy sector.
Managing Director, Technical
Frankie has been with QED Energy Associates since 2016, overseeing day-to-day consulting operations and leveraging the in-office consulting team to meet client deadlines. As the lead technical consultant, they specialize in PHDwin v3, ValNav, Obsidian, and Mosaic projects. Renowned as the resident expert for GIS and SQL services, they hold a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas State University and are a certified QED Level 8 Technician.

Courtney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Centenary College of Louisiana, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Departmental Honors.
Her accomplishments have been celebrated in numerous ways, including her feature in the book “101 Careers in Mathematics: Fourth Edition,” available from the American Mathematical Society Bookstore.
Courtney’s career profile is showcased on the Mathematics Association of America Career Profiles Page.
She was honored as the Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Houston West Chamber of Commerce in 2012.

Erin dedicated her career to education, serving as an 8th-grade math and algebra teacher in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District from 2004 to 2012.
She then took a role in QED as Courtney’s go-to person for training and several key operations at QED.
Erin holds the prestigious QED Level 9 Technician certification, the highest certification ever awarded to any technician by QED Energy Associates.
Erin Randolph embodies a commitment to education, technical excellence, and the highest standards in the field of reservoir engineering.
Erin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in education with a specialization in secondary mathematics in December of 2003.
